Join our international team as one of our first hires to spearhead efforts to build and launch Home.Earth in the Netherlands. Your focus will be on developing the investment-part of our Dutch business, but you will have the opportunity to be part of shaping our entire Dutch organization as a core team member. You will:

• Develop our investment processes, with tasks including underwriting, creation of investment materials, negotiations with sellers and other external stakeholders, due diligence and market analyses, alongside our country lead, Nicole Maarsen, and other Home.Earth team members.
• Work on establishing a local deal pipeline
• Work on selected business development initiatives within Home.Earth, such as assisting the country lead in the creation of the local investment strategy and business plan.

To succeed in the role, you will need an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in developing the real estate industry for the better. You are able to handle several work streams simultaneously and work efficiently under time pressure. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are important, both for internal work as well as when dealing with external stakeholders. You are comfortable working with both Excel and PowerPoint and have experience with modelling and presenting cases in PowerPoint-format.

You will be working closely with our Dutch country lead, Nicole Maarsen, who has 20+ years of real estate investment experience from Maarsen Groep, ING Real Estate and Syntrus Achmea. You will also work alongside Home.Earth team members from other countries counting several ex-McKinsey consultants, successful entrepreneurs and, literally, a rockstar. Meet our team at home.earth

Your tasks will include

• Responsibility for end-to-end investment processes
• Analysis and modelling transactions with our transaction team
• Due diligence
• Market research in relation to investment strategies and competitor analysis
• Follow-up on performance of existing investment cases

Qualifications we’d hope you have

• Motivated and proactive team player
• Master’s degree within Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Law, or another area with an analytical focus
• Ambition – with a track record supporting this
• Strong analytical skills and an intuitive flair for numbers
• Ability to work independently, but has a team-player mindset
